Athletics Recap 10/4/21 – 10/8/21

Here’s a recap of this past week from Athletic Director Tyler Francis:

Upper School Boys Tennis

The tennis team competed in three matches last week. The Tarriers defeated Cascade Christian and Vashon but lost to Klahowya for CWA’s first loss of the season. The Tarriers’ season record is 7-1.

Upper School Volleyball

The Tarriers competed in two matches last week. CWA fought hard but lost to Cascade Christian and defeated Klahowya. CWA volleyball is 6-2 for the season.

Upper School Cross-Country

Cross-Country competed in the Port Townsend meet last week. The Tarriers are tuning up to get ready for the postseason which begins next week.

Upper School Girls Soccer

The girls soccer team played valiantly but lost two games last week, falling to Vashon and East Jefferson (Chimacum/Port Townsend High Schools combined).

Upper School Football

The Tarriers’ game got canceled due to the opponent’s school being closed down for two weeks.

Middle School Volleyball

The Tarriers gave it their all but lost at Cascade Christian.

Middle School Cross-Country

Tarriers hosted a four-team meet on the CWA campus.
